I have pretty much this exact problem and its driving me mad, have you had any luck finding a solution, manual backups seem to work for me, but schedualled ones do Förklaring The Removable Storage service did not detect a valid media library. Never heard of it.

Updated my chipset drivers, updated everything I can update. Your name or email address: Do you already have an account? I've done a little digging, but not finding much help. I'm getting pretty frustrated.
