I posted this same solution as a reply to the original post. Since reading this I have done two scans twice with MBAM and AVG. From what I read that .rdp appears in documents when an attempt is made at a remote connection. Type the Computer name that you want to connect to and then click the button "Save As…" to save the RDP file to a different location (D:\, for example). thanks.
