If this is already the case, and if the computer runs Windows 2003 Server or higher OS, check in the Group Ploicy Editor if the print spooler accepts remote client connections. RE: Delete printers mawilson (MIS) (OP) 28 Oct 04 17:14 There aren't any jobs in the queue.The only thing I could find to disable was the spooler service, and then you I was able to go into the registry and delete the printers, but after I add one back, I can't delete it again. You either entered a printer name that was incorrect or the specified printer is no longer connected to the server.
Thanks Micro$oft...try again. Then restart on the remote computer the "Print Spooler / Spooler" service in order to take changes into account.
