Cannot Renew Ip Address Windows 7
request has timed out. The connection is recognized, but has same problem as when I connect via ethernet. How would I be able to get it to release the IP for it's normal connection and get it to register the new connection to my router? It says the DHCP server is timing out. At the command prompt, type netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt, and then press ENTER to reset the TCP/IP network protocol. On the General tab, scroll down in the list box till you see Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and highlight it. It's not clear in your post if you tried "renew" while in ipconfig.
